Leading tech and engineering group MAIRE has completed the transfer of a 7.9% stake in NEXTCHEM, finalising a transaction first announced on 3 March 2025.

 

The company said the full transfer of ownership from Maire Investments (MI) to Azzurra Next One became effective on 22 December 2025. Azzurra Next One is a special-purpose vehicle set up for the deal, controlled by Azzurra Capital and indirectly backed by Azimut Libera Impresa SGR.

 

Following the transaction, MAIRE remains the clear majority shareholder in NEXTCHEM with an 82.1% stake. Azzurra Next One now holds 7.9%, while Yousef Al Nowais and MI each retain 5.0%.
