MFG Chemical is expanding its position in the industrial water treatment market with the acquisition of AP Tech, an internationally recognized provider of solid chemistry solutions.

 

The deal brings AP Tech into the MFG Chemical portfolio alongside Radical Polymers and Masters Company, creating a broader platform spanning both liquid and solid water treatment chemistries.

 

AP Tech, founded in 1999 by Jim Heimert and headquartered in West Chester, Ohio, pioneered the use of solid water treatment chemistry as an alternative to traditional liquid products. Over more than two decades, the company has built a reputation among water treatment service companies for innovation, safety and proprietary chemistry.

 

Today, AP Tech serves hundreds of water treatment service companies worldwide.

The acquisition is the latest step in MFG Chemical’s broader expansion strategy, with the company signaling that additional acquisitions could follow as it builds its specialty chemical and water treatment portfolio.
