Consolidated revenue from operations grew 57.1% YoY to Rs. 1,191 crore

Navin Fluorine International reported an 82% year-on-year (YoY) surge in consolidated net profit to Rs. 269 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2026 (Q2 FY27). In the same period last fiscal year, the specialty chemical manufacturer logged a profit after tax of Rs. 148 crore.

The impressive bottom-line growth was backed by strong topline momentum. Consolidated revenue from operations grew 57.1% YoY to Rs. 1,191 crore, up from Rs. 758 crore recorded in Q2 FY26. Operationally, the company recorded nine consecutive quarters of net profit expansion. Revenue growth led by higher volume and improved realisations.

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) surged 65.9% YoY to Rs. 407 crore against Rs. 246 crore in the year-ago period. Operating EBITDA margins expanded by 190 basis points to hit 34.3%, compared to 32.4% in Q2 FY26, driven by higher asset utilization, favorable pricing matrices, and a highly lucrative mix in its specialty fluorochemicals and contract development and manufacturing operations (CDMO) segments.

Sequentially, operations showed sustained operational improvements. Total revenue rose 14% from Rs. 1,045 crore in the preceding June quarter (Q1 FY27), while net profits climbed 10.7% from Rs. 243 crore.

The company has announced a major four-year extension of its hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) supply contract with US-based Solstice Advanced Materials US, Inc., boosting the total contract value to approximately $590 million.

The extension adds an estimated $180 million in revenue potential over the revised 11-year contract period, anchoring the company's long-term export pipeline.

Alongside this commercial milestone, Navin Fluorine reported a firm pricing environment for hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), driven by sequential quarter-on-quarter increases in realizations. Market visibility for upcoming HFC capacities continues to strengthen as the company prepares to capture growing global demand.

On the operational front, the company's capital expenditure program remains on schedule. Navin Fluorine is on track to shortly commission its additional HFC capacity expansion, which will deliver up to 15,000 metric tons per annum (MTPA) of R32 capability.
