Organic Recycling Systems Limited (ORSL) announced that its Bioenergy Project Development and EPC vertical has secured a "large-scale" contract from Shreyam Manek Agro Products Pvt. Ltd. to develop an integrated Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG) and biofertilizer facility in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh.
The project is designed to produce 10 tonnes per day (TPD) of CBG utilizing agricultural feedstock. It is part of a larger initiative to create a modern integrated gaushala (cow shelter) that converts organic waste into renewable energy and value-added by-products.
Under the scope of this contract, ORSL will undertake equity participation and end-to-end EPC execution, encompassing detailed engineering, technology integration, supply of critical equipment, construction, installation and commissioning of the CBG facility.
The CBG project reflects a strategic collaboration and is part of a larger plan of 10 such integrated projects that will be developed in various locations of Madhya Pradesh with a total outlay of INR 500-600 crore within a period of 3 years.
