Petrobras launches 'Fortalecer Program' to boost diversity in Revap's supply chain

Project registrations are open until April 28 for micro and small entrepreneurs from Vale do Paraíba, who are part of underrepresented groups


Petrobras is accepting applications for a project to encourage the inclusive development of micro and small businesses in the Paraíba Valley, in São Paulo, the area covered by the Henrique Lage Refinery (Revap) . Recently launched, the “Fortalecer Program” aims to support and provide support to 30 potential suppliers from underrepresented groups, including women, black and brown people, people with disabilities and the elderly. Applications for the project are open until April 28.

The program is in partnership with Sebrae (Brazilian Support Service for Micro and Small Businesses) and was designed with the aim of boosting diversity in Revap's supply chain, strengthening local businesses and promoting a more inclusive and sustainable environment.

Aimed at entrepreneurs in the cities of Caçapava, Jacareí, São José dos Campos and Taubaté, the program includes several services, such as food and buffet, events, small-scale internal electrical maintenance (facilites), engineering services (small-scale), rental and production of photos, manufacturing and assembly of furniture.

With in-person and virtual classes, participants will receive training in financial and people management and leadership, training in strategic planning and management consulting, as well as guidance on registering on the Petrobras Supplier Channel. The project aims to structure and monitor the development of registered companies, strengthening their competitiveness, sustainability and ability to meet market demands.
