Eco-friendly PU systems manufacturer engages with footwear industry stakeholders on material innovation, performance and circularity
Polyurethane systems manufacturer Rymbal showcased its solutions for footwear applications and engaged with manufacturers, exporters, component suppliers and other stakeholders across the footwear value chain at the recently concluded India International Footwear Fair (IIFF) 2026.
The company demonstrated its polyurethane systems while addressing footwear manufacturers' evolving needs. Discussions highlighted the industry's shift toward materials that balance performance, durability, and efficiency with sustainability goals.
Rymbal showcased its sustainable polyurethane solutions—FluidX, BioSafe, and ReNeu—featuring recyclable, bio-based, and advanced recycled materials. These innovations drive the footwear industry toward circular, efficient manufacturing without sacrificing performance.
The company highlighted ReNeu, Rymbal’s chemical recycling technology that depolymerizes polyurethane waste to create new PU products. By reintroducing 93% of recovered waste into production, ReNeu cuts the need for virgin raw materials and advances circularity across the value chain.
