SAFETEMBER in September.

 

India’s technical forum dedicated exclusively to Process Safety and Risk Management, held on 7 and 8, drew more than 120 process safety practitioners and engineering leaders from over 50 companies gathered in Hyderabad.

 

Organized by Kaypear Engineering LLP and Three Ten Initiative Technologies LLP, the conference focused on practical approaches to strengthening process safety engineering and risk management across industry.

 

More than 80% of attendees represented major chemical and petrochemical organizations, underscoring the event’s strong industry focus.

 

The technical programme tackled some of the most critical challenges in process safety, including Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA), pressure relief design and reactive chemical hazards.

 

The programme opened with a Round Robin Session led by Sowbna Padmanaban of Aarti Industries and Rahul Raman of Kaypear Engineering. Eight technical sessions followed, featuring detailed presentations, interactive Q&A and peer-to-peer discussions designed to facilitate the exchange of engineering practices across sectors.

 

SAFETEMBER 2026 was supported by an expert advisory committee comprising Bharath Londe of Amneal Pharmaceuticals, Hari Bukya of Hetero Labs Limited, Kranthi Kumar Reddy of Jubilant Ingrevia Limited, Neelam Solanki Negandhi of Swiss Re, Rajendrakumar Patil of Asian Paints Limited, Sowbna Padmanaban of Aarti Industries Limited and Sumedh Devi of Galaxy Surfactants Limited.
