The 2026 grant competition is open to non-profit organisations and budgetary institutions in 17 cities where SIBUR operates

SIBUR has opened applications for the 2026 competitions under its Formula for Good Deeds social investment programme, inviting organisations across its operating regions to submit projects aimed at driving sustainable local development.

Applications will remain open until October 16, 2026, with winning initiatives set to receive SIBUR’s support and be implemented in 2027.

Now in its 10th year, Formula for Good Deeds has grown into one of Russia’s major corporate social investment programmes. SIBUR said the initiative has supported more than 1,300 grant projects and 350 interregional projects, reaching more than 1.5 million people.

The 2026 grant competition is open to non-profit organisations and budgetary institutions in 17 cities where SIBUR operates, including Voronezh, Kazan, Krasnodar, Nizhnevartovsk, Nizhnekamsk, Perm, Tobolsk and Tomsk.

A separate Interregional Projects Competition is open to public organisations, specialised institutions and commercial companies proposing large-scale projects spanning at least two SIBUR operating regions.

Projects can be submitted under the categories of City, Education and Science, Sports, Culture, Environmental Protection and Inclusion. The grant competition also includes a Volunteering category.

SIBUR said all entries must incorporate environmental principles, accessibility and opportunities for broad public participation.

Elena Snezhko, Head of SIBUR's "Formula of Good Deeds" Social Investment Program: "It's especially important to support initiatives that help people unite, develop their cities, and create sustainable change. We're looking for projects that can not only solve a local problem but also engage residents, become a growth hub for the region, and an example of effective partnership. These are the very initiatives that become part of the "Formula of Good Deeds" program every year."

Applications opened on August 24 and can be submitted through applicants’ personal accounts on the Formula for Good Deeds website. Competition materials, application guidelines, training webinar recordings and answers to frequently asked questions are also available there.

The results are expected to be announced by the end of 2026, with implementation of the selected projects scheduled to begin in 2027.

The interregional competition covers 23 locations, including Moscow, Krasnoyarsk, Omsk, Tyumen and Ufa, alongside several cities where SIBUR operates.

Launched on February 1, 2016, Formula for Good Deeds operates across seven areas: urban development, education and science, sports and healthy lifestyles, environmental protection, culture, inclusion and volunteerism.
