The new facility will feature a maize grinding capacity of 1,200 metric tonnes per day
The Sukhjit Starch and Chemicals Limited has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Maharashtra to set up a new, state-of-the-art maize processing plant in the Nashik district. The planned project involves a capital expenditure of roughly Rs. 500 crore.
The new facility will feature a maize grinding capacity of 1,200 metric tonnes per day (TPD) to produce maize starch and its derivatives. This strategic expansion will scale the company's regional manufacturing footprint and market presence.
Project execution and plant implementation will begin once the Maharashtra State Government provides a timeline for delivering essential infrastructure.
