Technip Energies India has clinched top honors for safety excellence, taking home the Platinum Award for Best HSE Performance at the 12th Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Northern Region EHS Excellence Awards.
The win recognizes the company’s work on the MS Block Project at HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited (HRRL) in Barmer, Rajasthan—one of India’s most significant refinery developments.
The award highlights the project team’s rigorous approach to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards during execution, marking a standout performance in a high-stakes industrial setting. From robust HSE management systems to innovative safety protocols and smart use of renewable resources, the project has set a new bar for operational excellence.
Among its most forward-looking initiatives, the team established an HSE theme park—an effort aimed at strengthening safety awareness and education, signaling a shift toward more immersive and proactive safety practices.
At the core of this achievement is Technip Energies’ sustained focus on workforce training, leadership involvement, and a deeply embedded safety-first culture. The company has emphasized shared accountability, ensuring that safety remains a priority from frontline workers to senior leadership.
Commenting on the achievement, Davendra Kumar, Managing Director, India and APAC, Technip Energies, said: “This recognition is a proud moment for our teams in India and across the globe. It underscores our unwavering commitment to safety as a core value and demonstrates how safety is deeply embedded in our project philosophy and operational culture."
"We are also grateful to the HRRL team and our partners for their collaboration and shared responsibility in upholding the highest safety standards.”
