Trelleborg Group, through its business area Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, has finalized the acquisition of Nexus Elastomer Molds GmbH, an Austrian company specializing in advanced tooling solutions and automated manufacturing cells for liquid silicone rubber.

 

Nexus Elastomer Molds, based in Eberstalzell, Austria, brings external sales of approximately SEK 160 million on a rolling twelve-month basis as of June 2025. The two companies have a history of collaboration in both development and production, making this acquisition a natural next step.

Its technical approach, with rapid tool development, shortens lead times and enables our customers and us to accelerate innovation and bring products to market faster.

The addition of Nexus’s capabilities will enhance both Trelleborg Sealing Solutions and Trelleborg Medical Solutions, expanding the Group’s reach in engineered polymer solutions. The transaction is effective immediately and will be consolidated as of today.

 

Trelleborg, a global leader in engineered polymer solutions, reported annual sales of approximately SEK 34 billion in 2024 and operates in around 40 countries.
