This has improved customer responsiveness, accelerated project execution, and strengthened technical collaboration across industries including oil & gas, water treatment, mining, and industrial processing.
Reservoirs in India present unique, high-salinity, and high-temperature conditions. How are your specialised sulfonated derivatives and high-performance anionic polymers engineered to withstand these extreme environments?
In India, new discoveries are very limited and field are getting mature and old and depleting the production, recovery factor often face challenging conditions involving high salinity, elevated temperatures, and complex geological characteristics.
Our advanced polymer technologies, including specialized sulfonated derivatives and high-performance anionic polymers, are specifically engineered to maintain stability, viscosity, and performance under these demanding conditions.
Leveraging SNF's global R&D network and decades of field experience, we develop customized solutions that maximize sweep efficiency and enhance oil recovery. These products undergo extensive laboratory testing and field validation to ensure reliable performance in India's unique reservoir environments.
With nearly two decades of expertise in Chemical Enhanced Oil Recovery (CEOR), what major shifts have you observed in how Indian oil and gas giants adopt polymer flooding?
Over the years, we have witnessed a significant transformation in the industry's perception of polymer flooding. Initially viewed as an emerging technology, polymer flooding is now recognized as a proven and economically viable enhanced oil recovery solution. With the boost of EOR policy which MOPNG, Govt. of India is working on to enhance the production. Indian oil companies increasingly focus on maximizing production from mature fields while optimizing development costs. As a result, there is growing demand for customized reservoir-specific solutions backed by strong technical support. The successful implementation of large-scale polymer flooding projects in India has further accelerated industry confidence and adoption.
