Shrieve Chemical Company, backed by private equity firm Gemspring Capital, has acquired Clear Solutions International, a UK-based developer of proprietary water-based drilling fluid systems in a move to strengthen its energy and infrastructure portfolio.

 

The acquisition expands Shrieve’s Energy Products and Services business, adding specialized drilling fluid technology and strengthening its position across key energy and infrastructure markets. 

 

The companies expect the combined capabilities to broaden their product offerings and technical support for customers across multiple applications and geographies.
