Manikantan Viswanathan has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of PI Industries Limited with effect from August 1, 2021 in place of Rajiv Batra.

Rajiv Batra, Group Chief Financial Officer of the company has relinquished his office with effect from closing hours of July 31, 2021 due to personal reasons.

Manikantan is a qualified Chartered Accountant and also possesses B.Sc. degree in Physics. Manikantan has an extensive Management and Leadership experience of more than 30 years in Finance, Merger & Acquisitions, Commercial, Legal field and has an extensive exposure on chemical industry operations. He has also handled business operations involving cross border structuring including large transfer pricing cases.

Prior to joining he has held several senior positions with Reliance Group, Godrej Group and Galaxy Surfactants. Until recently, as Group Chief Financial Officer, he headed the finance functions in Rossari Biotech Limited.
