Aarti Industries elevates Suyog Kotecha as MD & CEO to drive next growth phase

The leadership transition is part of Aarti Industries’ long-term succession planning strategy


Aarti Industries Limited (AIL), one of India’s leading global speciality chemical companies, has announced a major leadership transition aimed at strengthening governance, accelerating growth and reinforcing its evolution into a professionally managed institution.
 
The company’s Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Suyog Kotecha, currently Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director, as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Aarti Industries, effective October 1, 2026, subject to shareholders’ approval.
 
As part of the transition, Aarti Industries’ promoter Executive Directors will move into Non-Executive leadership roles, allowing the company to further strengthen its governance framework while retaining strategic continuity and the benefit of promoter leadership experience.
 
Effective October 1, 2026, Rajendra Gogri will transition from Chairman & Managing Director to Non-Executive Chairman, while Rashesh Gogri and Renil Gogri will move from Vice-Chairman & Managing Director and Vice-Chairman & Executive Director roles, respectively, to Non-Executive Vice Chairmen.
 
The leadership transition is part of Aarti Industries’ long-term succession planning strategy and marks a new chapter in the company’s journey, with executive management taking charge of day-to-day operations while promoter leadership continues to provide strategic direction and oversight.
 
Since taking over as Chief Executive Officer in June 2024, Suyog Kotecha has worked closely with the Board and leadership team to strengthen strategic execution, enhance customer engagement, build organisational capabilities and advance the company’s long-term growth priorities.
 
The Board has expressed confidence in Kotecha’s leadership and his ability to guide Aarti Industries through its next phase of expansion.
