Cohen-Asher brings more than 15 years of international experience in business development, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic project leadership
ADAMA Ltd., a global leader in crop protection, today announced the appointment of Dafna Cohen-AsherasChief Executive Officer of Lycored, an ADAMA subsidiary and global leader in natural ingredients for the food, beverage, and supplement industries.
Cohen-Asher brings more than 15 years of international experience in business development, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic project leadership. She joined ADAMA in 2017 and most recently served as Head of Corporate Development, where she led major international acquisitions across Peru, Greece, the United States, and other key markets. Prior to ADAMA, she held senior business development roles at Teva Pharmaceuticals.
In her new position, Cohen-Asher will be responsible for shaping and executing Lycored’s global growth strategy, strengthening its sales and marketing network, and deepening partnerships with customers worldwide. She will oversee teams based in Israel, the United States, and Europe, driving continued innovation in natural ingredients and sustainable production.
Lycored develops, manufactures, and markets science-based, nature-derived solutions for the health and beauty industries, as well as natural colorants, flavoring, and texturizing ingredients for food and beverages.
Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, Lycored is the world’s largest producer of lycopene, a natural antioxidant extracted from tomatoes and widely used in dietary supplements and functional food applications.
The company’s unique, sustainable production model utilizes the entire tomato fruit, achieving zero waste, and delivers more than 100 innovative products, including carotenoids, vitamins, minerals, and naturally derived food-enhancing agents.
