AK Jana has been nominated by GAIL (India) Limited as Managing Director of lndraprastha Gas Limited. 

 

He has taken over charge from ES Ranganathan with effect from June 16, 2020. ES Ranganathan has ceased to be a Director and Managing Director. 

 

AK Jana is a graduate in Production (Mechanical) Engineering and is having over three decades of experience in the gas sector. He has vast experience in project execution of construction, commissioning and operation & maintenance of gas processing plant & LNG terminal, rotary equipment, natural gas and LPG pipelines. Prior to joining IGL as Managing Director, he was Chief Executive Officer of Gail Gas Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of GAIL) engaged in the business of city gas distribution.
