Ambrish Dixit has been appointed as CEO of BVC in place of Shaju C. O who has now been appointed as Managing Director of the company.
Dixit has earlier worked with Jubilant Agro Sciences Ltd., a subsidiary of Jubilant Ingrevia, dedicated to offer exclusive contract development and manufacturing services/CDMO to global agrochemicals MNCs/innovators for manufacturing intermediates and active ingredients/technicals.
He also headed US $250 million Speciality Chemicals business of Jubilant Ingrevia (consisting Pyridine & Picoline, Fine Chemicals, and CDMO SBUs) with P&L responsibility which is the largest global manufacturer of Pyridine & Picoline and its derivatives, Diketene derivatives with more than 35+ chemistries platforms and offers speciality chemicals/fine chemicals/ intermediates/advance intermediates and contract manufacturing/CDMO services to global innovators/players in pharmaceutical, agrochemicals, cosmetics, food, paint, and industrial applications.
He led Paushak with P&L responsibility (as CEO role) while turning around Paushak by growing revenue by 3X, profitability by 10X and market cap by 20X while defining strategy and providing visionary leadership to create brand of the company in global speciality chemicals space within 5 years. Strategised and developed long term plans, planned and executed large Capex with 300+ employees while making Paushak as one of the best performing companies within Indian speciality chemicals industry and stock market.
In the past, he has also worked with SRF Ltd., Matrix Laboratories Ltd. DSM Anti Infectives, and Thomson Press.
