Arxada appoints Tafa Magaya as SVP - Growth, Strategy & Transformation

This newly created position reflects Arxada’s commitment to drive innovation, expand market presence and enhance growth

Arxada, a global, science-based leader in innovative specialty chemicals, is pleased to announce the appointment of Tafa Magaya as Senior Vice President (SVP) Growth, Strategy & Transformation. He will be based in the U.S., reporting directly to Arxada’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Sanjeev Rastogi. He will serve as a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team.

This newly created position reflects Arxada’s commitment to drive innovation, expand market presence and enhance growth as it leads the industry transition to cleaner, greener solutions. Tafa will work collaboratively with Arxada’s Technology & Innovation team as well as its business units to accelerate expansion in existing and new markets.

Tafa brings a wealth of knowledge and demonstrated track record of success to the position, having consistently identified new opportunities, developed and executed strategies to drive growth in previous roles. He has held leadership positions in strategy, marketing, new business development, R&D, regulatory and business management for a diverse range of industries from automotive, construction, consumer and hygiene to personal care, healthcare and industrial markets. His business experience spans more than 22 years and 20 countries across the globe.

He has a BS in Chemical Engineering from the Berlin University of Applied Sciences and a Master of Business Administration from MIT Sloan School of Management.
