DFPCL appoints Amir Alvi as President - Manufacturing Operations; Pandurang Landge as President - Manufacturing Excellence & Technology Development

Alvi brings over 36 years of experience in the fertilizers and chemicals industry


Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Ltd. (DFPCL) has restructured its manufacturing leadership by appointing Amir Alvi as President - Manufacturing Operations and redesignating Pandurang Landge as President - Manufacturing Excellence & Technology Development. The changes take effect from September 1, 2026.

DFPCL said that the move strengthens its manufacturing leadership structure by creating two distinct roles within the function. Both executives are designated as Senior Management Personnel under SEBI listing regulations.

Alvi brings over 36 years of experience in the fertilizers and chemicals industry. His expertise covers manufacturing, plant management, supply chain, and project execution. Prior to joining Deepak Fertilisers, he served at Coromandel Internationa for more than a decade, advancing from Executive VP & Head of Manufacturing to Chief Operating Officer (Fertilizers). He previously spent 23 years at Tata Chemicals Limited.

Landge, formerly President – Manufacturing, has been redesignated to focus on manufacturing excellence and technology development. He holds 44 years of domestic and overseas experience. Landge began his career with Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers (RCF) and spent 20 years in Saudi Arabia leading a start-up that became a public company in 2008.
