Dr. Santanu Chaudhuri has joined Thermax Limited as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) on October 21, 2024.
He brings with him over 27+ years of global experience, spanning leading academic institutions and national research laboratories. He joins Thermax Limited from the University of Illinois, Chicago, where he served as a Professor of Materials Engineering. His previous roles include positions at Argonne National Laboratory, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Washington State University, Brookhaven National Laboratory, and Alumnus Software Limited.
Dr. Chaudhuri is a BS with honours in Maths, Physics and Chemistry from SAJ College, Calcutta. He also holds an Advanced Diploma in Software Engineering Technology from PACE university (NY) and APTEC along with a PGD in Business Management from Post Graduate Institute of Management. Additionally, he is a PhD holder in Materials and Computational Chemistry from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, where his research laid the foundation for his extensive career in advanced materials engineering and computational chemistry.
