Dr Venkatesh Sarvasiddhi is Royal Society of Chemistry's new MD for South Asia

Venkatesh will lead the RSC’s work across India and South Asia
The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) has appointed Indian-origin Dr Venkatesh Sarvasiddhi as its new Managing Director for India and South Asia, reinforcing its commitment to one of the fastest-growing and most influential chemistry communities in the world.
Venkatesh, previously Springer Nature Managing Director, India Research Business and Chair of the Board of Springer Nature India, will lead the RSC’s work across India and South Asia, building on deep partnerships with universities, research organizations, industry, and government.

India and South Asia are home to extraordinary scientific talent, and the region’s contributions to global chemistry are only growing.
