IMCD has recently appointed Bandesh Rao as Director – Strategy, M&A, and Transformation (SMAT) for India and Bangladesh.
In this capacity, he is responsible for steering strategic growth initiatives, accelerating both organic and inorganic expansion, advancing digital transformation, and enhancing IMCD’s branding and market presence.
With over 15 years of experience, Bandesh has a proven track record for driving business expansion, optimizing operations, and strengthening market positioning. Prior to joining IMCD, he held key leadership positions at Godrej Industries Limited (Chemicals Division).
An accomplished chemical engineer with an MBA, Bandesh has further honed his leadership skills through a leadership programme for senior executives at INSEAD. Beyond his professional endeavours, Bandesh is an avid reader and a dedicated fitness enthusiast.
