Colette succeeds Marc van Gerwen, who will retire on 1 March 2026
IMCD N.V., a global leader in specialty chemicals and ingredients distribution, has announced that Emmanuel Colette will take the helm of its Business Group Food & Nutrition worldwide, effective 1 March 2026. Colette will maintain his current role as Managing Director of IMCD France.
In his expanded role, Colette will drive the global development of Food & Nutrition, enhancing both commercial and technical offerings while accelerating the Business Group’s contribution to IMCD’s growth ambitions.
Colette brings extensive experience to the position. He joined IMCD in 2012 as Product Manager for Food & Nutrition, became International Product Manager in 2018, and in 2020 moved to Singapore to lead the Asia Pacific Food & Nutrition business and serve as Managing Director of IMCD Singapore. During his time in Asia, he helped double the business through organic growth, supplier expansion, and the acquisition of EurochemoPharma in Malaysia. Since March 2024, he has served as Managing Director of IMCD France.
Colette succeeds Marc van Gerwen, who will retire on 1 March 2026 after a 38-year career in the chemicals and ingredients industry.
