IMCD Group is stepping up its US growth push with the appointment of Walter Ripple as Executive Vice President, Commercial, US, creating a new senior role focused on strengthening its commercial engine.

 

The speciality chemicals and ingredients distributor said Ripple’s appointment will help deepen supplier and customer relationships, sharpen portfolio performance and accelerate organic growth in the US.

 

Ripple joins IMCD from Avient Corporation, where he spent more than 27 years in sales and senior leadership positions. His roles included Vice President, Sustainability; Vice President and General Manager of Global Elastomers; and Vice President and General Manager of Americas Specialty Engineered Materials.

 

He brings extensive experience in commercial strategy and portfolio excellence, along with a track record of driving growth in the specialty chemicals sector.

 

Ripple holds a Bachelor's of Chemistry from Texas A&M University and an Executive MBA from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business.
