Johnson Controls appoints Vivek Bhide as new President & Managing Director for India

Johnson Controls has appointed Vivek Bhide as its new President and Managing Director for India.

With over 36 years of experience across industrial technology, engineering, and business transformation, Bhide will steer the company's growth in advanced building technologies, thermal management, energy efficiency, and decarbonisation infrastructure across the country.

Prior to joining Johnson Controls, Bhide spent nearly seven years at John Cockerill, where he most recently served as Group Transformation Officer alongside his role as Regional President – John Cockerill Group.

Earlier, he was the Managing Director of John Cockerill India Limited. His career also includes prominent leadership roles at Fortive India and Gilbarco Veeder-Root, where he drove sustained business growth and managed complex industrial operations.
