Crystal Crop Protection Limited, one of India’s leading and fastest-growing agri-solutions companies, has announced the appointment of Kavishwar Kalambe to its Board of Directors, reinforcing the company’s commitment to operational excellence, sustainability, and long-term value creation.
Kalambe’s elevation to the Board marks a significant milestone in Crystal’s strategic journey as the company continues to scale its manufacturing capabilities, deepen sustainability integration, and expand its footprint through high-impact partnerships across the agri-value chain.
In his role as Board Member, Kalambe will anchor three strategic priorities - driving advanced manufacturing technologies, embedding sustainability and environmental responsibility across operations, and forging strategic collaborations to accelerate innovation-led growth.
A distinguished chemical engineer with a Bachelor’s degree from North Maharashtra University, Kalambe brings over 20 years of leadership experience across some of the world’s most respected chemical, specialty, and agri-science organizations. His career spans pivotal roles at Ion Exchange India Ltd., Heubach Colour Pvt. Ltd., Gharda Chemicals Limited, and Bayer Crop Science. He spent nearly a decade with BASF (including Ciba Specialty Chemicals), where he contributed significantly to operational transformation initiatives.
Kalambe has also led large-scale greenfield and expansion projects at Thermax Ltd. and held senior leadership positions at INEOS Styrolution, Aarti Industries Ltd., and Huntsman Corporation. Prior to joining Crystal Crop Protection Limited in early 2025, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Best Value Chem Pvt. Ltd., where he played a critical role in scaling operations and strengthening manufacturing excellence.
