Mazuin, currently serving as the senior vice-president (SVP) of corporate strategy at Petronas, will succeed Mohd Yusri Mohamed Yusof
The Board of Directors of PETRONAS Chemicals approved the appointment of Encik Mazuin bin Ismail as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer with effect from 1 January 2024.
Mazuin, currently serving as the senior vice-president (SVP) of corporate strategy at Petronas, will succeed Mohd Yusri Mohamed Yusof, who was appointed as the MD and CEO in January 2022.
Mazuin joined Petronas in 1991 and has more than 30 years of experience covering project execution and engineering, internal audit, governance, and business development.
He also held various leadership roles within the Group in petroleum management, strategic planning and change management and some key positions include Senior Vice President (SVP) of Corporate Strategy, SVP, Project Delivery and Technology and Vice President of Technical Global of Petronas.
