Sanjay Kumar has been named the new Managing Director & CEO of Petronet LNG Limited, with his tenure officially beginning on May 13, 2027.
Kumar steps into the role backed by a deep professional background spanning LNG sourcing and trading, natural gas marketing, gas transmission, shipping, and business development.
Kumar currently serves as Director (Marketing) at GAIL (India) Limited, following his tenure as Managing Director at Indraprastha Gas Limited and earlier senior leadership roles at GAIL, including Executive Director (Marketing - NG & RLNG), Executive Director (LNG & Shipping), and President at GAIL Global Singapore.
