PPG is reshaping the leadership of its global businesses, appointing three senior executives to head its Industrial Coatings, Performance Coatings and Global Architectural Coatings segments as the company pushes to accelerate growth and productivity.

The changes, effective Sept. 1, 2026, build on PPG’s 2025 decision to establish three segments by aligning complementary businesses under a more focused structure. The company said the new leadership model is designed to capture synergies, reduce complexity and drive performance.

Alisha Bellezza, currently senior vice president of global automotive coatings and packaging coatings, will become senior vice president of the Industrial Coatings segment. She will retain responsibility for the global automotive coatings business while adding oversight of industrial coatings, packaging coatings and specialty products.

Juliane Hefel, senior vice president of industrial coatings and specialty products, will report to Bellezza and remain on PPG’s Operating Committee. Denise Lu, vice president of packaging coatings, will also continue reporting to Bellezza.

Chancey Hagerty, currently senior vice president of global automotive refinish coatings and aerospace, will take over as senior vice president of the Performance Coatings segment. In the expanded role, he will continue leading automotive refinish coatings while overseeing aerospace, protective and marine coatings, and traffic solutions.

Sam Millikin, senior vice president of global aerospace, will continue reporting to Hagerty. Amy Ericson, senior vice president of protective and marine coatings and traffic solutions, will report to Hagerty. Both will remain members of PPG’s Operating Committee.

Henrik Bergström, currently senior vice president of global architectural coatings, has been appointed senior vice president of the Global Architectural Coatings segment.

Javier Sosa, vice president of architectural coatings, LATAM and president of PPG LATAM; John Smith, vice president of architectural coatings, EMEA; and Claire-Louise Walker, managing director and general manager of architectural coatings ANZ, will continue reporting to Bergström.

“As we continue to transform PPG, this focused segment structure will unlock new opportunities to accelerate our growth and productivity,” said Tim Knavish, PPG chairman and CEO. “These executive leaders and their teams will be charged with optimizing their respective segments to maximize performance for our customers, employees and shareholders.”

The appointments mark a significant step in PPG’s effort to streamline its global operations and place greater accountability for growth and productivity within its three core business segments.
