The Board of Directors of SRF Limited has appointed Prashant Yadav as President & CEO (Fluorochemicals Business & Technical Textile Business).
The appointment of Prashant Yadav as President & CEO (Fluorochemicals Business & Technical Textiles Business) will be effective from November 1, 2021 consequent to superannuation of Sanjay Chatrath, President & CEO (Technical Textile Business), SRF Limited on October 31, 2021.
The company has also appointed Arun Bharat Ram as Chairman Emeritus with effect from April 1, 2022. The Board took note that Arun Bharat Ram has expressed his intention to step down as Executive Chairman and Director of the company from the closing of business hours on March 31, 2022.
Arun Bharat Ram has been instrumental to the spectacular success of the company and the Group over the last five decades. Considering his tremendous experience and to continue to benefit from his rich experience, valuable knowledge and wisdom from time to time, the Board has recommended his appointment as Chairman Emeritus of the company for a period of five years with effect from April 1, 2022 to the shareholders at the forthcoming annual general meeting of the company.
