Harada replaces Akinori Higuchi who will step down from the position on April 1, 2026
Sanyo Chemical Industries has appointed Masahiro Harada appointed as the new Representative Director, President, and CEO, effective April 1, 2026. Harada is currently working as Representative Director and Senior Managing Executive Officer.
Harada replaces Akinori Higuchi who will step down from the position on April 1, 2026, and is scheduled to retire as a Director to become an Advisor after the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders in June 2026.
The change is designed to coincide with the start of the new Medium-Term Management Plan in fiscal year 2026, ensuring steady execution and enhanced corporate value under new leadership.
Born in 1964, Harada joined Sanyo Chemical in 1989 and has extensive experience within the company, including roles in business planning, electronics, and surfactant divisions.
