Davendra Kumar, Managing Director of Technip Energies India, has been honoured with the Business Leader of the Year – Engineering Services award at the CHEMTECH Leadership & Excellence Awards 2026.

 

The accolade recognizes Kumar’s transformative contributions to engineering and manufacturing, as well as his leadership in setting global industry benchmarks.

 

Commenting on the recognition, Kumar said, “This award reflects the collective effort of our teams in India and the Technip Energies network. Over the years, our India team has built capabilities to deliver complex projects. We remain focused on safe, reliable and sustainable engineering solutions for our clients. Under Kumar’s leadership, Technip Energies India has scaled up operations and strengthened its position as a global player across LNG, Refining, Petrochemicals, Specialty Chemicals, and Fertilizers. The company has also expanded into Sustainable Solutions, including Green Hydrogen, Green Ammonia, Carbon Capture, and Sustainable Aviation Fuels.

 

The award was presented at a glittering ceremony in Mumbai, attended by senior leaders from India’s engineering and chemical sectors.
