EIL commissions 60 KTAPP plant at GAIL Pata petchem complex

Engineers India Ltd. (EIL) has achieved a major milestone with the successful commissioning of the prestigious 60 KTA polypropylene (PP) project at GAIL Pata Petrochemical Complex.

With the commissioning of the unit, the plant will produce three new grades of polymer, viz. homo polymer, impact polymer and co-polymer.

The unit has been commissioned along with associated utilities, offsite facilities and interconnections with the existing complex. A nitrogen plant and a mounded bullet have also been commissioned for the PP project.

The flagship project is a major undertaking in adding a fillip to the rapidly expanding petrochemical industry in India and spotlights EIL's leadership and commitment in executing critical energy projects for the nation.
