Supreme Petrochem resumes Polystyrene manufacturing

The company has started manufacturing operations of both its plants situated at Nagothane, Amdoshi, Raigad-Maharashtra and Manali, Chennai-Tamilnadu.
Supreme Petrochem Limited has started manufacturing operations of both its plants situated at Nagothane, Amdoshi, Raigad-Maharashtra and Manali, Chennai-Tamilnadu.
In compliance with the guidelines/rules as applicable by the government of Indian and the state government authorities, the company has resume manufacturing operations in addition to one line of Polystyrene which was already operative, the company has also commenced production of its 2nd line also at its Nagothane Plant, hence making two lines of Polystyrene operative at present.
All other manufacturing operations at both the aforesaid plants of Supreme Petrochem Limited continue to remain inoperative/closed on account of aforesaid “Force Majeure”.
Supreme Petrochem Limited (SPL) owns and operates production facilities from two locations in India. The first at Amdoshi – Wangani Village near Nagothane in District Raigad Maharashtra and the second in New Manali Town near Chennai in Tamil Nadu. SPL exports its products to more than 100 countries around the globe.
The Styrenics facility at Amdoshi – Wangani manufactures Polystyrene (PS), Expandable Polystyrene (EPS), Specialty Polymers and Compounds (SPC), Extruded Polystyrene Foam Boards (XPS) and Styrene Methyl Methacrylate (SMMA). The Infrastructure at the facility is geared to handle upto a million tons of Polymers. The New Manali Town facility manufactures Expandable Polystyrene (EPS).
