Clariant, the sustainability-driven specialty chemical company, is spotlighting its cutting-edge agricultural innovations at the China International Agrochemical & Crop Protection Exhibition (CAC 2026), running March 17-19 at National Exhibition and Convention Center Shanghai. 

 

Under the banner “Greater chemistry, better harvests,” Clariant is debuting advanced formulation technologies, including two major product launches aimed at tackling the toughest challenges in modern agriculture.

 

Dispersogen PSL 100: As crop protection formulations grow increasingly complex, Clariant’s new Dispersogen PSL 100 provides a solution for formulators struggling with multi-active, high-load, and biologically sensitive combinations. 

 

The high-performance polymeric dispersant offers superior stabilization, reliable crystal growth control, and excellent tolerance to electrolytes and hard water. With 100% active content, it works effectively at low dosages while remaining safe for microorganisms and seed germination.

Tonnagel 50: Clariant is also introducing Tonnegel 50, part of its attapulgite portfolio acquired from BASF in 2022. Designed to maintain stable viscosity and uniform coating quality across varying pH, temperature, and salt conditions, Tonnegel 50 ensures superior performance in pesticide formulations, seed coatings, and suspension fertilizers. Its ultra-fine grades enable excellent seed coating adhesion and abrasion resistance, while EPA-registered formulations allow higher nutrient loading, reducing transport costs and boosting operational efficiency.
