Endress+Hauser has strengthened its US presence with the opening of two new facilities in Greenwood, Indiana, and Edgmont, Pennsylvania, marking a significant expansion of its operations and reinforcing partnerships with regional sales and service representatives.
The June 2026 inaugurations brought together customers, partners, employees, and state and local officials, underscoring the company's continued commitment to the US market.
For CEO Peter Selders, the investments reflect the company's long-term growth strategy. “With the new buildings, we are strengthening our local presence and ensuring we are close to our customers. In doing so, we are laying the foundation for sustainable growth.”
President of the Supervisory Board Steven Endress added: “As a family-owned company, we stand for long-term thinking, reliability, and partnership-based collaboration – values that are also reflected in these construction projects.”
Endress+Hauser invested approximately €44 million ($50.9 million) in a new 9,800-square-metre facility in Greenwood, Indiana, which serves as an expansion of its US headquarters.
The building also becomes the new headquarters for long-time sales and service representative George E. Booth Co., bringing together around 190 employees from both organizations under one roof. It houses modern workspaces for sales, service, project and solutions teams, as well as the company's central functions.
Designed with sustainability and workforce development in mind, the facility features an integrated Design and Innovation Studio that supports STEM education through hands-on learning and partnerships with local educational institutions.
Green building features include geothermal heating and cooling, solar panels, rainwater management systems, and other energy-efficient technologies, earning the facility LEED Gold certification.
Greenwood remains Endress+Hauser USA's headquarters and one of its largest manufacturing hubs, producing flow, level, pressure, and temperature measurement technologies. The campus employs nearly 670 people, excluding 75 employees from George E. Booth Co.
Endress+Hauser has also opened a new 8,200-square-metre facility in Edgmont, Pennsylvania, west of Philadelphia, in collaboration with long-standing sales and service partner Eastern Controls, LLC of PA.
Around 90 employees from both companies will support customers across multiple industries with process measurement technologies and automation solutions, strengthening the company's presence in the Northeastern United States.
The site includes an expanded Process Training Unit (PTU) to provide practical customer and employee training. It will also become the future venue for the Northeast Community Career+Education Forum (CCEF), an annual programme designed to connect middle school students with industry and educational institutions.
