The workshop aims to bring together scientists, industry professionals, regulatory experts, and stakeholders from the agro-biological sector to deliberate on recent advances and challenges
The Institute of Pesticide Formulation Technology (IPFT), Gurugram, will organize an Industry Interaction-cum-Workshop on “Biopesticides and Biostimulants: Formulation Technologies and Regulatory Strategies” on 23 March 2026 at CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology campus in Hyderabad.
The workshop aims to bring together scientists, industry professionals, regulatory experts, and stakeholders from the agro-biological sector to deliberate on recent advances and challenges in the development, formulation, quality evaluation, and regulatory aspects of biopesticides and biostimulants.
The programme will facilitate knowledge exchange on emerging market opportunities, technological innovations, and regulatory frameworks governing these products in India.
The event will feature technical lectures by scientists from IPFT, invited industry experts, and researchers from CSIR-IICT, covering key themes such as innovations in formulation technologies, bio-efficacy and phytotoxicity evaluation, analytical requirements and quality standardization of biostimulants, and the evolving market landscape of biological crop protection solutions.
An interactive session with industry representatives will also be organized to foster dialogue between research institutions and agrochemical industry, promoting collaborative research, technology transfer, and sustainable agricultural solutions.
“The increasing demand for environmentally safe crop protection solutions highlights the growing importance of biopesticides and biostimulants. IPFT remains committed to supporting this sector through scientific research, formulation innovation, and strong industry engagement, and this workshop will serve as an important platform for collaborative progress,” said Dr. Mohana Krishna Reddy Mudiam, Director, Institute of Pesticide Formulation Technology.
Through such initiatives, IPFT continues to strengthen industry–academia–research organization partnerships and support the development of science-based, environmentally sustainable crop protection technologies in India.
