Black Rose Industries' manufacturing unit at GIDC, Jhagadia, Gujarat, received closure directions from the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) today, citing violations under the Water Act.
The GPCB also mandated a Rs. 3.5 lakh bank guarantee and future compensation payments.
The company stated it's taking immediate corrective steps and working with GPCB for rapid compliance restoration.
