The transaction values the portfolio at €265 million
TotalEnergies announced the completion of the sale of a 50 per cent stake in a 270 MW wind and solar portfolio in France to investment funds managed by Eiffel Investment Group. The transaction values the portfolio at €265 million.
Following the transaction, TotalEnergies will retain a 50 per cent interest and continue to operate the assets, offtaking and marketing the majority of the electricity generated.
This divestment is fully aligned with TotalEnergies’ integrated power business model, which aims to combine renewable energy sources such as solar, onshore wind, and offshore wind with flexible assets including combined-cycle gas turbines (CCGT) and storage. The strategy is designed to deliver reliable, clean, and competitive electricity to customers.
By divesting up to 50 per cent of its renewable projects once they reach commercial operation and are de-risked, TotalEnergies ensures value creation while maintaining operational control. This approach supports the Company’s ambition to achieve a 12 per cent profitability target for its Integrated Power business, while strengthening its commitment to driving the energy transition in France and globally.
