In their proposed Lingen Green Hydrogen project, the two firms intend to build an initial 50 ?megawatt (MW) electrolyzer and associated infrastructure at bp’s Lingen Refinery in northwest Germany
Through bp’s joint venture, Pharaonic Petroleum Company (PhPC), the field, which is expected to produce up to 50 million cubic feet of gas per day, has been developed through a one-well subsea development and tie-back to existing infrastructure.
With an estimated 10.5 trillion cubic feet of recoverable gas resources, the block has the capacity to deliver approximately 35% of Oman’s total gas demand.
The partnership includes a co-?innovation effort focused on digital solutions, the continued use of Microsoft Azure as a cloud-based ?solution for bp infrastructure and bp supplying renewable energy to help Microsoft meet its 2025 ?renewable energy goals.?
As per the study, energy consumption will shift away from fossil fuels, and renewables will grow rapidly as the ?world continues to electrify. ?

Republic Services is managing the South Shelby Landfill project while Aria will operates the project, processing and purifying biogas from the landfill into RNG and bp will transport the RNG into the interstate natural gas pipeline grid and market it to renewable energy customers.
Operating under the “Jio-bp” brand, the joint venture aims to become a leading player in India's fuels and mobility markets.
Under the terms of the agreement, bp will provide ENN with 300,000 tonnes per year of pipeline gas re-gasified from LNG for two years from 1 January 2021 in Guangdong.
The investment will help BP accelerate its ambition in India and co-invest in a variety of zero- and low-carbon energy solutions.
