Targets industrial biocides and coatings market
Azelis is sharpening its industrial push in France through an expanded agreement with Arxada, bringing industrial biocides and coating additives into its distribution portfolio effective immediately.
The move extends the long-running collaboration between the two companies beyond life sciences into industrial applications, with a strong focus on Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants and Elastomers (CASE) and broader chemical markets in France.
The expansion gives French customers access to Arxada’s industrial biocides and coating additives, backed by Azelis’s local technical expertise and regulatory support—particularly critical in tightly controlled biocide applications.
For Arxada, the deal strengthens its reach in the French industrial sector by tapping into Azelis’s established customer network and on-the-ground market presence. For Azelis, it adds higher-value, regulation-heavy products to its growing industrial portfolio.
Both companies highlighted the strategic importance of the move.
Christian Pflesser, Market Segment Director Advanced Materials & Additives and CASE at Azelis EMEA, comments: "This extension reflects the strength of our partnership with Arxada and the capabilities of our French teams. By combining our technical expertise, particularly in biocides, with our strong customer network, we are well-positioned to support growth in the paints and coatings market and deliver value to customers.”
Beatriz Cid, Senior Director of Sales EMEA, Paints and Coatings at Arxada, comments: “Our collaboration with Azelis continues to deliver strong results across multiple regions. Expanding into the French industrial market allows us to build on this momentum, reaching manufacturers with our innovative product technologies and solutions, supported by Azelis’s technical expertise and customer relationships.”
The partnership already spans multiple regions including DACH, Benelux, the UK and Ireland, Greece, and Ukraine, where the companies say consistent execution has helped drive expansion into new territories and applications.
