Global chemical distribution powerhouse Brenntag has inked an exclusive agreement with China’s Henan Yongchang Nitro Fertilizer Co, securing nitric acid supply for the Australian and New Zealand markets.

 

Henan Yongchang, based in Huixian City, Henan Province, is a major chemical producer with extensive facilities capable of producing both dilute and concentrated nitric acid, along with a broad range of nitrate and nitrite derivatives used across agriculture, fertilizers, mining, metal treatment, and water treatment. Recognized as one of China’s top nitric acid exporters, the company brings scale, expertise, and reliability to the partnership.

 

The deal not only strengthens Brenntag’s supply chain but also expands access to Henan Yongchang’s portfolio of nitrate derivatives, including potassium nitrate, sodium nitrate, and aluminum nitrate, enhancing opportunities across key industries.
