Caldic, a global distributor and development partner for ingredients and specialty chemical solutions, has announced a new distribution partnership with Elkay Chemicals, expanding its footprint in India’s specialty chemicals market.

 

Under the agreement, Caldic India will distribute Elkay Chemicals’ specialty silicone technologies across the paints, coatings, construction, and industrial sectors. The move brings together Elkay’s expertise in silicone resins and silicone emulsion technologies with Caldic’s established customer network, technical capabilities, and local market reach.

The partnership aims to support manufacturers seeking improved surface protection, durability, and performance in demanding applications. The portfolio includes heat-resistant silicone resins, water-based silicone emulsions and additives, and hybrid silicone resins designed to enhance properties such as water repellency, water beading, stain resistance, anti-graffiti performance, and high-temperature resistance.

 

Applications span architectural paints, construction materials, heat-resistant and powder coatings, industrial finishes, and coatings for household appliances.
