IMCD delivers strong first-half growth as revenue and profit rise

Revenue increased to EUR 2.638 billion, up 11% on a constant currency basis
IMCD N.V., a leading global partner in the distribution and formulation of speciality chemicals and ingredients, reported strong first-half 2026 results, driven by higher revenue, improved profitability and robust cash flow generation.
Revenue increased to EUR 2.638 billion, up 11% on a constant currency basis, while gross profit rose to EUR 658 million, representing 7% constant currency growth. Operating EBITA climbed 8% on a constant currency basis to EUR 285 million.
The company also delivered a significant improvement in cash generation, with free cash flow surging 29% to EUR 222 million, compared with EUR 173 million in the first half of 2025. Cash earnings per share increased to EUR 3.18, up from EUR 2.94 a year earlier.
During the period, IMCD strengthened its global footprint by completing the acquisitions of Dong Yang FT in South Korea and Willows Ingredients in Ireland and the UK, while also signing an agreement to acquire Merit Solution in Thailand.
Commenting on the results, CEO Marcus Jordan said: "We have had a positive first half of the year, achieving gross profit and EBITA organic growth alongside increased free cash flow generation.
