Univar Solutions has acquired Interpur Chemicals, a leading European distributor of polyurethanes and powder coatings, in a move aimed at accelerating growth in high-performance materials markets across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

 

The acquisition expands the Performance Materials business within Ingredients + Specialties from Univar Solutions, bringing together Interpur Chemicals’ regional expertise with Univar Solutions’ global supplier network, logistics capabilities, and technical resources.

 

The companies said the combination will provide customers with broader product access, enhanced formulation support, and improved supply reliability for coatings and performance materials applications.

The deal strengthens Univar Solutions’ presence in the CASE (coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers) sector, where demand continues to grow for advanced materials used in industrial and consumer applications.

Interpur Chemicals brings more than two decades of experience supplying chemical raw materials and technical consultancy services to the polyurethane, resins, and powder coatings industries. The company’s expertise will add depth to Univar Solutions’ technical capabilities and strengthen customer support throughout the region.
