Linde has secured a place in the FTSE4Good Index Series for the 11th consecutive year, reinforcing its position as a global leader in environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance and sustainable business practices.

 

The recognition from FTSE Russell highlights Linde's continued progress in embedding sustainability across its operations while advancing industrial decarbonization for customers worldwide.

The company continues to pursue ambitious climate targets, including its science-based goal to reduce absolute greenhouse gas emissions by 2035 and its long-term ambition to achieve climate neutrality by 2050.

 

In 2025, Linde enabled customers to avoid 98 million metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent—more than double the greenhouse gas emissions generated by the company's global operations—underscoring its growing role in helping industries reduce their carbon footprint.

 

The FTSE4Good Index Series, created by global index and data provider FTSE Russell, tracks companies that demonstrate strong environmental, social and governance performance. 

 

The indexes are widely used by investors to evaluate and build responsible investment portfolios, with companies assessed on factors including corporate governance, health and safety, anti-corruption measures and climate change performance.
