Speciality PVC leader INEOS Inovyn's premium product NEOVYN is rapidly becoming the benchmark for low-carbon PVC, with adoption accelerating across key sectors -- from window profiles and flooring to automotive interiors and water distribution piping.
Yes, since its launch in 2024, NEOVYN PVC has seen demand skyrocket thirtyfold, driven by businesses’ growing commitment to environmentally responsible products and low-carbon solutions. The surge spans construction, automotive, piping, and technical textiles sectors.
By leveraging renewable and low-carbon energy sources, NEOVYN achieves a carbon footprint 37% lower than the European industry average for suspension PVC, equating to just 1.3 kg CO2 per kg PVC.
“Customers are increasingly looking for suppliers to reduce their scope 3 emissions and enable them to offer lower carbon applications. NEOVYN provides a trusted drop in solution which immediately reduces PVC greenhouse gases by 37%, demonstrating our commitment to provide market leading products,” said Arnaud Valenduc, INEOS Inovyn’s Business Director.
The product is now available from nearly all INEOS Inovyn production sites, powered by renewable sources including hydroelectricity in Norway, North Sea wind energy in Antwerp, and solar power in Jemeppe. NEOVYN is certified under the ISCC PLUS scheme, with independently verified greenhouse gas credentials providing assurance to customers.
INEOS Inovyn reports an increasing number of companies are switching their entire PVC range to NEOVYN, enabling the development of sustainable downstream products and a reduction in scope 3 emissions.
The impact is especially visible in construction, where PVC is a core material. NEOVYN supports product-specific environmental declarations, helping manufacturers meet evolving sustainability regulations while lowering the carbon footprint of window profiles, flooring, and pipes.
