PT Asahimas Chemical achieves ISCC Plus certification

This certification allows ASC to handle ISCC PLUS-certified products, including caustic soda, vinyl chloride monomer, and polyvinyl chloride resin

AGC, a global leader in glass, chemicals, and advanced materials, announced that its group company PT Asahimas Chemical (ASC), based in Indonesia, has recently obtained ISCC PLUS Certification.

This international certification verifies that biomass-derived and renewable raw materials (including those from renewable energy) are sustainably managed across the entire supply chain, including manufacturing processes, in compliance with ISCC standards, ensuring full traceability.

This certification allows ASC to handle ISCC PLUS-certified products, including caustic soda, vinyl chloride monomer, and polyvinyl chloride Resin, thereby enhancing its product portfolio. Moreover, ASC can now offer products that meet international sustainability standards to customers actively pursuing environmental responsibility. Currently, the following products within the AGC Group’s chemicals segment have obtained this certification.

By offering these certified products, the Group aims to advance initiatives that minimize environmental impact across the entire value chain—from raw material procurement to customer use—contributing to the achievement of a sustainable global environment.
