Americhem has acquired Noble Biomaterials, adding a portfolio of specialized antimicrobial and conductive technologies to its global polymer solutions business as it sharpens its focus on high-growth markets, including healthcare, apparel, textiles, and aerospace and defense.

 

The acquisition brings Noble Biomaterials’ proprietary technologies, established commercial relationships and more than two decades of intellectual property expertise into Americhem’s global platform. 

 

The move is expected to strengthen the company’s ability to develop specialized materials and take them from concept to scalable commercial production.

 

Noble Biomaterials is known for its flagship technology platforms — IONIC+, X-STATIC and CIRCUITEX — which deliver advanced antimicrobial, odor-control and conductivity capabilities for soft-surface applications. Backed by US manufacturing operations and a robust intellectual property portfolio, the technologies serve mission-critical applications across several high-demand industries.

 

The deal strengthens Americhem’s position in fiber and polymer solutions while expanding its capabilities in healthcare and other markets where advanced functional materials are increasingly in demand.
